Quick Gourmet Recipes for a Healthy Heart 2010
Most of my friends said they'd never have the time to cook the recipes in my first book of recipes for a healthy heart.
These recipes are quick and easy (at least by comparison). So we'll see what excuse they will have now, unless they
just want to admit they are not gourmets! |

Gourmet Recipes for a Detoxification Diet Why not make a diet enjoyable and, at the same time, find out what we might be eating that is taking
a toll on our health? My allergist, Dr. Welman A. Shrader, prescribes a diet that eliminates
most of the foods to which people are allergic. By avoiding them for a month, you eradicate the toxins
from your system. You will know if you are feeling better within ten days, so a little patience, please.
Then, after a month, you can reintroduce one category of foods at a time to see if your symptoms return
and thereby know which food is the culprit -- a sort of "Do-It-Yourself-Allergy-Kit"! |

The Gourmet Healthy Heart In our retirement, we have enjoyed both fine food and photographing wildlife. The fine food caught up with us, but our taste buds still work.
As a lifetime gourmet cook, Emily decided to make some low-cholesterol recipes that wouldn't kill us and still satisfy our taste buds. Please enjoy them, and our photographs from around the world as well.
Some sample recipes are included here as well as a link to our Lulu Marketplace should you care to order the book which
contains over 100 healthy recipes from appetizers to deserts. |

The Social Aquarium, a filmscript based on Marcel
Proust's Remembrance of Things Past. Using flashbacks to a magic lantern show about a medieval princess, memories of a washroom on the Champs-Elysées,
a sadistic homosexual brothel, and scenes from Marcel's everyday, bourgeois childhood, the story satirizes concepts of social class differentiation, moving from
Marcel's first dinner at the home of the supreme icon of high society, the Duchess de Guermantes, to a dinner at a
parvenu's summer house where the male icon of high society, the Baron de Charlus, is introduced thanks to his love
for a musician, Charles Morel, then on to another dinner where Charlus tries to introduce all of high society to the
musician at the parvenu's town house, and finally to a party where everyone has aged considerably and is found together
at the home of the current supreme icon of high society, formerly the wife of the parvenu and now the wife of the
Prince de Guermantes.
